The Pour House Project

The Pour House is the first tenant helping to fund part of a major renovation of the Warren Building, owned by the Friend Historical Society. The building, circa 1885-86, is being renovated to include the San Carlo Room and additional retail space. 

The Warren Opera House, on the National Historic Register, sits proudly atop the building, waiting. It is the goal of the Pour House and the Society to restore the Opera House and to once again share her grandeur with the area.

Deep Roots

The Potter family has deep roots in Saline County. It's where the family farm & Potter's Field Vineyard are. It's also where our ancestors, the Scheidt and Asmus families settled when they came from Germany. The Warren Building is the very building where George Scheidt and his sons once operated a shoe store. It is a privilege for us to return to the building and to bring our love of family, wine & great taste to Downtown Friend.
